Nothing like a weird alien to shake you out of a meltdown. 

Two notes!

1 - I will be updating next week for sure (Ko-Fi subscribers get the pages early!), but the week of christmas I will be visiting family, and will likely not have a page. I would however like to update still, and I plan to do some LoreDump sketches a la Skin Deep's Reader Questions or Runaway to the Stars infographics. I have a couple things I want to chatter about, but if you have anything you'd like me to talk about, please comment and ask!

 

2 - I'm considering in the new year to maybe start a monthly sticker club, each month would be a new 2-3" waterproof vinyl sticker of something related to the comic. If this is something you're interested in, please leave a comment! It's one of those things that has some up front costs so I'd love to know how many people would enjoy that.

Exodus almost complete!

We are nearing the end of chapter 1! Just a few more pages. 

When I started publishing online, I had a buffer of 8 pages. My buffer is down to slightly less than 2, and I really hope I can keep up without missing any updates before the end. Comics are a lot of work!

Once Chapter 1 is complete, I’ll be taking a couple months off to rebuild my buffer before I start posting chapter 2. Draft 1 of chapter 2 is done, just doing some fine tuning and planning and storyboarding.

I have a vague plan to tell a side story of some sort during the hiatus, something sketchy and easy to draw. My favourite webcomic, Skin Deep, does Reader Questions, but I honestly don’t think I have A, enough readers to be able to fill updates with, and B, enough content to spark questions I can answer that isn’t already planned to be revealed in-universe! I could post art of some aliens I’ve designed but I’m torn between sharing them early, and waiting to reveal them over time in the story! It’s hard! I have so much planned!
