Considering how she needs translation for *everything*, hearing her own native tongue has got to be surprising. Especially after a week with a wolf-alien who talks in howls and song.

Also! I've started making a Wiki - It's still super in progress, but I'll be adding to it when the mood strikes me. It's as much for me to keep track of things, as it is for my readers! It's hosted on my husband's website, which mostly just has wikis on it, haha. Neither of us are a fan of fandom wikis (okay, we hate fandomwiki with a passion), so we spun up a self hosted one. It's... Interesting. Limited, but at least we have full control, and can use it ad-free. 

At the moment there's only a few pages, but it's also got some stuff in there that hasn't been explained in the comic! Feel free to check it out! There's no editing abilities since it's privately hosted and proper security for login access isn't something we care to deal with, I'm the only one with access. I'm also still working on figuring out how I want to format it and how I want it to look. CSS is not my strong suit!

We are nearing the end of chapter 1! Just a few more pages. 

When I started publishing online, I had a buffer of 8 pages. My buffer is down to slightly less than 2, and I really hope I can keep up without missing any updates before the end. Comics are a lot of work!

Once Chapter 1 is complete, I’ll be taking a couple months off to rebuild my buffer before I start posting chapter 2. Draft 1 of chapter 2 is done, just doing some fine tuning and planning and storyboarding.

I have a vague plan to tell a side story of some sort during the hiatus, something sketchy and easy to draw. My favourite webcomic, Skin Deep, does Reader Questions, but I honestly don’t think I have A, enough readers to be able to fill updates with, and B, enough content to spark questions I can answer that isn’t already planned to be revealed in-universe! I could post art of some aliens I’ve designed but I’m torn between sharing them early, and waiting to reveal them over time in the story! It’s hard! I have so much planned!
