I had a big project come up on the weekend and fell a bit behind on this week's page. I got so close! So I'll have to finish up the last bits this evening. 

Edit: I had a work function after work on Friday and ended up crashing from being way too full of food, fixed as of saturday evening! 

I haven't been too happy about how I've been doing the lights from their re-breathers, so I made it a lot less in your face on this page. I think it works a lot better and doesn't 'highlight' my mistakes in angles as much, haha! I also corrected a couple mistakes, like the shydaxi vanishing in the first panel! Continuity! and rearranged some of the art and speech bubbles to flow better.

We are nearing the end of chapter 1! Just a few more pages. 

When I started publishing online, I had a buffer of 8 pages. My buffer is down to slightly less than 2, and I really hope I can keep up without missing any updates before the end. Comics are a lot of work!

Once Chapter 1 is complete, I’ll be taking a couple months off to rebuild my buffer before I start posting chapter 2. Draft 1 of chapter 2 is done, just doing some fine tuning and planning and storyboarding.

I have a vague plan to tell a side story of some sort during the hiatus, something sketchy and easy to draw. My favourite webcomic, Skin Deep, does Reader Questions, but I honestly don’t think I have A, enough readers to be able to fill updates with, and B, enough content to spark questions I can answer that isn’t already planned to be revealed in-universe! I could post art of some aliens I’ve designed but I’m torn between sharing them early, and waiting to reveal them over time in the story! It’s hard! I have so much planned!
