 THIS is what an Elyei is!! They're the space equivalent of a ship's cat for keeping pests under control. About the intelligence of a dog, pack oriented. Ships Snakes.

HOLY SHIT CHAPTER TWO IS DONE.

Someone observant might notice that there is a missing page number - for the print version I'll be doing a single page filler, probably an elyei on a white backdrop leading the reader to turn the page. This is a 2 page spread so I had to make it work, hehe.

NOW. There will be a V2 of this page next friday, if all goes well. I have a zine I bought from a local artist about colour theory, and I wanted to do an experiment and read that AFTER I finished this end-cap page, so I can re-colour the whole thing based on what I learned, to see the differences between my old knowledge and new. 

From there I will be on about a 2-month?? Hiatus while I finish up script for chapter 3, and get some buffer going. I am going to use a couple of those first weeks to RELAX and take a break from constant go go go that making a webcomic demands. Hopefully after my vacation I will be refreshed and ready to dive back in. Honestly, I love making the comic so much it's going to be hard *not* to work on it. 

After that 2 week 'Vacation' I will be doing some Lore Dumps! So feel free to drop any questions in the comments, or on discord.

Exodus almost complete!

We are nearing the end of chapter 1! Just a few more pages. 

When I started publishing online, I had a buffer of 8 pages. My buffer is down to slightly less than 2, and I really hope I can keep up without missing any updates before the end. Comics are a lot of work!

Once Chapter 1 is complete, I’ll be taking a couple months off to rebuild my buffer before I start posting chapter 2. Draft 1 of chapter 2 is done, just doing some fine tuning and planning and storyboarding.

I have a vague plan to tell a side story of some sort during the hiatus, something sketchy and easy to draw. My favourite webcomic, Skin Deep, does Reader Questions, but I honestly don’t think I have A, enough readers to be able to fill updates with, and B, enough content to spark questions I can answer that isn’t already planned to be revealed in-universe! I could post art of some aliens I’ve designed but I’m torn between sharing them early, and waiting to reveal them over time in the story! It’s hard! I have so much planned!
