Noise Floor – 2.42

Okay, full disclaimer, I don't actually know all that much about what the internals of an arm looks like. I googled some references of wrist surgeries and kinda winged it from there. I struggled to find a balance of too detailed / not detailed enough and I have no idea if I succeeded. 

 

So I swear it wasn't intentional, but my first content warning comes on the heels of...

PAGE 100!!

If I count two pages spreads as 2 pages, and also titles pages, this is my 100th page! I can't believe I've come this far. I honestly can't. I'm so bad at sticking to things, and I've never done anything this big before. Thank you SO MUCH for every pair of eyes on my comic, everyone who reads, lurks and supports. I appreciate you!

Here's to many, many more.

FYI, this chapter will be 55 pages, and then I'll be taking a month-ish off to get a chapter 3 going. I'm so excited for chapter 3! Things are really going to start happening.

Exodus almost complete!

We are nearing the end of chapter 1! Just a few more pages. 

When I started publishing online, I had a buffer of 8 pages. My buffer is down to slightly less than 2, and I really hope I can keep up without missing any updates before the end. Comics are a lot of work!

Once Chapter 1 is complete, I’ll be taking a couple months off to rebuild my buffer before I start posting chapter 2. Draft 1 of chapter 2 is done, just doing some fine tuning and planning and storyboarding.

I have a vague plan to tell a side story of some sort during the hiatus, something sketchy and easy to draw. My favourite webcomic, Skin Deep, does Reader Questions, but I honestly don’t think I have A, enough readers to be able to fill updates with, and B, enough content to spark questions I can answer that isn’t already planned to be revealed in-universe! I could post art of some aliens I’ve designed but I’m torn between sharing them early, and waiting to reveal them over time in the story! It’s hard! I have so much planned!
