The Akyn are a militaristic race, that live on a desert planet covered in massive canyons.
The planet is so hot and windy on the surface that it’s challenging to maintain buildings, so the Akyn people instead went into the ground, and have built entire cities inside the earth.
Most Akyn wear special cuffs on their ears, which are used for displaying head jewelry and military rankings.
The Akyn are bipedal anthropoids, with long, narrow ears and a wedge shaped face. Their fur is short, but thicker around the base of their face and along their tail. The tail has a bony, club-like protrusion on its underside. They have 3 long fingers and a thumb, and each digitigrade foot has 3 hooves on the end of their toes.
The Akyn can have a wide range of colours in their fur, though their main coat colour is never particularly bright, with their secondary colours usually being close in gradients. Their nose and belly are always one colour, with the rest of their markings another.
