About the Comic
Unchosen Star is a story about a young Akyn female on a journey across the Galaxy.
About the Creator
Ruby Phillips is a queer Canadian artist, who has had this story in her head for years. She’s a jack of all trades, with more hobbies than she has time to pursue. Abandoning them all to finally make a webcomic, she’s started telling this story in earnest.

Special Thanks
No creative endeavor is created in a vacuum, and Unchosen Star is no exception. Without the support of my friends and partner, I wouldn’t have been able to get this off the ground.
LoginError, my amazing husband has been my number 1 fan from the beginning, and my primary Trampoline for bouncing ideas off of. Though I suppose it’s more of a Ping Pong game, since we end up bouncing ideas back and forth iterating on them to create something fun. His staunch support of me has been a foundation in the creation of this story, and without him, I probably wouldn’t have had the gumption to just go for it.
Rhitai, my friend for more than 2 decades, has been an excellent pincushion – and that’s a good thing! She lets me infodump about my ideas, and then says “Okay, I have questions.” and proceeds to poke holes in them all. And I love her for it. She helps me see the holes I was blind to, and then either I know they exist and can plan for them, or we talk it out and I figure out how to fill in the gaps.
LostHope, my friend and work buddy, has spent so much time trapped in the office with me while I talk about my ideas, and he’s a great listener and as it turns out, an great trampoline as well! So many slow work hours have been spent just bouncing around ideas. His genuine interest in my story helps to, and is a great motivator.
t3rminus, my good friend, who is almost entirely responsible for making this website possible. He helped me set up this whole wordpress website, built my sits.fit homepage, hosts the comic itself on his servers, and is endlessly supportive.
From here, I have too many friends, online and offline both, that have listened and helped me workshop things, that I can’t keep track of them all! If you are a person who’s been around backstage, encouraging, helping with ideas or language or critiques, I love you all. You know who you are. You’re awesome.
