So one piece of lore that may or may not be touch on in future chapters, is WHY she needs an evac suit. Because there as so many varied shapes of aliens, most vessels can't keep up with providing emergency suits for everyone, so it's standard on private contracts to require the employees to provide their own, much like earth companies require people to provide their own steel-toe boots, safety vests, hard hats, etc. The problem is that they're VERY expensive, which makes it a hard sell for some people.
On plethora's ship she didn't need one - there *are* universal ones, but they're basically bubble escape pods. Or maybe they're like, nano-tech forcefields that can really only seal you in and give you life support but you can't do much but hope someone picks up the distress beacon and rescues you.
Something like this suit lets her actually do things, and she can do spacewalks and be a functional employee while wearing it.
She has 2 job interviews lined up - both for cargo haulers, as a basic labourer.

While I'm still enjoying Pokopia, It's not as all consuming as it was last week, so it shouldn't get in the way of comic again anytime soon. Plus, I HATE spending 2 weeks on one page, it's so booooring.
