Temporary Hiatus – Damaged Wrists

Mostly all explained up above.

Yeah, I dun fucked up. For most people, falling on your wrists aren't a huge setback, but for me, it is. Years and years ago, I did a team lift without enough team. I hurt my wrists, so badly I couldn't work. I already struggled with RSIs in both my forearms from a previous job, and with my damaged wrists I couldn't do physio. I spent years - literally - out of work while I saw doctors and specialists and got xrays and MRIs about my wrists and in the end, they said "There's soft tissue damage, we can't see it. We can't fix it, this is your new normal, get used to it."

So I did. I've done lots of physio and I've worked really hard to get to where I am now. Or where I was, at least. I gave up hobbies. I focused on the ones I could do, and paced myself and slowly, slowly, I got to the point where I could do the comic.

I feel... man, my arms hurt. Typing this hurts. Shooting pains up my forearm, but I don't know how long this filler is going to be up here, so I don't want to leave people in the dark. I hope for just a week. Maybe two, tops. I'm gonna be devastated if it's longer than that. I love making my comic.

I refuse to abandon it. I will get better. Unchosen Star will be back, I promise. But I can't draw if I don't rest, so I'm going to be good, and go rest.

Thanks everyone for support. <3
