When sitting, the Ghazuka are a good 11 feet tall (antlers included). Realistically, trying to rob one is about as smart as a human trying to pet a moose, but.. well, people are idiots, human or not.

There are a couple sapient races that have trouble with not eating people, but they were rejected from the Coalition (and thus aren't welcome on Sanctuaries), and since the Coalition protects their own... It's not a huge problem on Coalition planets. Not a lot of people are willing to offer trade to beings that might try to kill and eat them, so those races haven't really managed to expand their reach much farther than their home planets.
